Today we are excited to offer a new Referral Service for landlords and property owners in the DC area. This new offering is a direct result of feedback we received from a number of landlords over the last few months. This group of landlords loved Urban Igloo’s ability to deliver high-quality leads that filled their property quickly. But they didn’t need our help (as much) with apartment tours, background checks, or the lease signing process.
Some of these were institutional landlords who already have the staff and resources to handle leads. Others were condo owners who have the time to show their place and want to be closely involved with the screening and signing process. And both groups, of course, were eager to reduce their marketing costs.
If you’re a landlord and this sounds like you, check out our new referral service. With this option, Urban Igloo will:
• List your properties for free on urbanigloo.com
• Find renters in the DC area who are a great match for your properties
• Schedule appointments for renters to see your properties
• Provide a rental application and one credit check
You the landlord then handle apartment showings, additional background checks, and the lease signing process.
The fee for our referral service is 50% of a month’s rent (you pay only when one of our renters signs).
