Breaking into the Philly real estate market can be a bit overwhelming and confusing considering the amount of options out there. Here is the step-by-step process to getting your license in Pennsylvania.
Step 1: Register and complete the 2 30-hour Pre-Licensing Courses (Real Estate Fundamentals and Real Estate Practices)
Step 2: Schedule and pass the Real Estate Exam (includes both of the National and State exams). Once you have taken and passed the course, you will receive a certificate of completion, which enables you to register for the exams (administered by PSI).
Step 3: Obtain a Criminal Background Check completed by the State Police.
