The Washington Post describes Adams Morgan as "a cross section of the world within a four-block radius." The area, which is bordered by Columbia Heights, Kalorama, and Dupont Circle, features a variety of townhouses and apartment buildings.
- The intersection of 18th St. and Columbia Road – and heading south on 18th for blocks – is home to a vibrant stretch of cafes, restaurants, bars and shops, including a number of international spots.
- Over the last decade, AdMo's 18th St. has become DC's Bourbon Street on weekend nights. Bachelorette parties, recent college grads, and half-eaten jumbo pizza slices mix on the street late at night.
- You'll know when you're in Adams Morgan by the murals and wall art you'll see. This neighborhood is an artist's haven.
