Woodley Park

The hustle and bustle of Woodley Park is complete with an eclectic collection of food and drink from the furthest corners of the world, all within an easy walk. © Urban Igloo

Suburban Elegance, Urban Location

Originally known for being the summer residence of presidents from Van Buren to Eisenhower, Woodley Park today is a dynamic neighborhood that offers residents elegant and convenient living in a central DC location. Living in Woodley Park gives residents easy access to Adams Morgan to the southeast, Cleveland Park and Cathedral Heights to the north and west, and much of the District via its red line Metro stop and numerous bus stations.

The main artery of the neighborhood, Connecticut Avenue, is characterized by its luxury high-rises and commercial zone that offers boutiques, independent restaurants and more. Explore the tree-lined side streets to find beautiful row homes, split level houses, Tudors, and more. The National Zoo, plenty of parks space, and a growing restaurant bar scene continue to draw people to this lively and charming neighborhood.
