Clarendon

With a wide selection of independent restaurants and bars and national chains, you’ll always find something to do in this urbanized suburban neighborhood. © Arlington County of Flickr

Where Urban Fun and Suburban Comfort Converge

Located between Rosslyn and Ballston on Metro’s Orange Line, Clarendon has been transformed into an irresistible neighborhood for those who want the walkability and uniqueness of a city and the accessibility of the suburbs. Home to both national retailers and independently-owned businesses, this neighborhood adds an urban twist to the traditionally suburban neighborhoods that surround DC.

Clarendon has seen an emergence of newly constructed apartment buildings in recent years. Many Clarendon properties offer modern conveniences and urban amenities to cater to a population looking for more luxury and space outside the District.
